History:
The idea of producing p-toluenesulfonic acid (PTSA) on an industrial scale was initiated in 1992 during a discussion between two faculty members of the chemistry department of Isfahan university of technology (IUT).Then after signing a transfer agreement with IUT and sharing with a well known business group, Farzin Chemicals Sepahan was born. Construction of the first stage of a plant, in an industrial park just outside the city of Najafabad (Isfahan province) was completed in a record time of only three months, we were on stream! Since then, besides expansion of the production capacity, our R&D team has improved on the technologies involved, the product capacity, and we will soon be enlarging our product lines to include other sulfonation products and also a pallet of additives for the local and international detergent industries.
